Michael Beynon

Michaels employment journey started as a volunteer at a local community café, however it is largely claimed that Michael ran the entire production! It was at a Coal Miners event that Michael sensed an opportunity to create his own Welsh Cake company. As a true entrepreneur Michael did not stop at Welsh Cakes and has since branched out to further products including Shortbread, Bara Brith and even Coalpit Gin.

Michael is quite simply an amazing individual who has inspired so many people by simply following his passions.

Outside of his work Michael enjoys Athletics and recently became the first Welsh man with Downs Syndrome to run the London Marathon.
